Earlier this year, artists who exhibit with the Vangard Gallery in Cork were asked to respond to Samuel Beckett, marking the Centenary of his birth. Their responses were variously directed towards the man, his work, the climate created by his work, notional landscapes, etc. Art Vitae member John Philip Murray is among the 28 artists.
